How To Get Involved

Getting involved in GreenLight is really easy-- just let us know if you want to be involved! Let us know what you're interested in and we'll make something happen. We're always looking for writers, artists, crafty folk, people that know fun places in Cleveland, musicians, and anyone that is passionate about community and sustainability.

We're making a committee of sorts that will consist of people that want to stay more involved with GreenLight. We're calling the group "GreenLight Agents." Pretty badass, donchya think? Agents will be our go-to people for getting stuff done. Writing for the website, promoting events... things like that. Agents are also welcome to buy copies of GreenLight to give or sell to their friends. Email us if you want to become an agent! Click here for more information.

About Zines

What's a zine? A zine (an abbreviation of the word fanzine, or magazine; pronounced "zeen") is a non-commercial, self-published literature, usually put together by hand and a copy machine. Profits are not the goal of a zine, it's usually a hobby for zinesters. Topics of zines can cover anything from music, feminism, food, or personal experiences (perzines). Zines give an outlet to peeps that might feel like their voice isn't always heard.

Anyone with something to say can make a zine! There are lots of how-to resources online for zine-making, but trial and error will help you find your groove.
